Description

A collection of pixel art weapon assets designed for UNRECORDED, reflecting the chaotic and resource-scare environment of the Indonesian War of Independence.
These sprites emphasize the historical contrast faced by the protagonist, Amir (a former KNIL soldier) from improvised freedom fighter tools like the Bambu Runcing and Golok, to foreign military arms such as the Nambu Pistol, Type 26 Revolver, and Katana. Each asset was carefully crafted in a distinct 2D style for seamless in-game integration and visual storytelling.

I was responsible for the end-to-end creation of all Pixel Art weapon assets for Unrecorded. This involved the design and careful visual styling (Art Designer) of each weapon sprite to ensure historical representation and seamless in-game integration (Assets Designer), supporting the game's narrative of contrasting military and improvised weaponry.
